Well, Monday is here again; weekend is over but new week full of unlimited
possibilities ahead.
I would like to share some tips with you to help you have a happy, productive and meaningful week.
- Set your goals
Specific (simple and significant)
Measurable (meaningful)
Achievable (realistic)
Relevant (results based, important for you)
Time Bound (time orientated, when) - Make a plan
Realistic and achievable; include crisis and backup plan - Stretch yourself
Try something new - Be disciplined and stay focused
Do not give up! - Allow yourself to have a “bad day”
Its ok to not to be ok, but move on next morning - Be assertive
Being assertive means to possess the ability to say YES as this is just important as the ability to say NO. It means standing for your personal rights, expressing thoughts, feelings and needs in a direct and proactive way. It includes being able to admit your mistakes and to apologies. Furthermore, we are assertive when we can accept praise, criticism, and when we can ask for help - Have something to look forward to after work.
This could increase your productivity hugely – going to the gym, engaging in hobby, meeting friends or enjoying a nice dinner…whatever suits you best.
