“To be passive is to let others decide for you. To be aggressive is to decide for others. To be assertive is to decide for yourself. And to trust that there is enough, that you are enough” E. Eger

Assertiveness means standing up for your personal rights, expressing thought, feelings, and beliefs in direct, honest, open and proactive way. Also, it includes being able to admit your mistakes and to apologies. Being assertive means to possess the ability to say “yes”as this is as important as the ability to say “no”. Also, we are assertive when we are able to accept praise, criticism and when we can ask for help.

Are you assertive?
